Dec. 22nd, 2018 06:24 pmMeredith is an ArcheType, literally a collection of character archetypes brought to life for the purpose of fighting fictional characters that had similarly manifested in reality. The situations an ArcheType ends up in and the outcomes thereof often have more to do with narrative than real world logic.
In Meredith's case, one of her archetypes is the Seeker, which covers characters like explorers and detectives, among others. This manifests mostly in the form of odd behavioral quirks, but one consistent trait of seekers is that they find things--maybe not what they were looking for, but something. There'd be no story, otherwise. As a result, Meredith has a tendency to "randomly" look in particular places or ask particular questions that will allow her to basically trip over something--a new discovery, a clue towards some secret, that sort of thing.
What I need to know is: does your character have any mysteries or secrets about them that you'd like Meredith to latch onto? Or alternatively, would you like to specifically opt out of the narrative pointing her to your character?
